We are looking for a hands-on AI QA expert who can help us improve our QA processes using AI, LLMs, and agentic automation.

This role is for someone who can both design, build and coordinate: from improving existing QA workflows with AI, to setting up custom agents, MCP servers, as well as customize and train AI models, before deploying them either on-premise or in the cloud in a secure fashion.

The ideal candidate has practical experience in software development lifecycle, specifically quality assurance, combined with hands-on experience applying AI to QA processes.

You should be comfortable working directly with QA teams, developers, product owners, and architects to understand existing testing processes, identify improvement areas, and implement working AI-driven QA solutions.

Responsibilities

You assume the role of a hands-on AI QA Automation Expert / Agentic QA Engineer in a continuously evolving Agile setting, helping to improve QA processes with AI

• You help design and implement AI-supported QA solutions, including Agentic QA, AI-assisted test generation, defect analysis and QA reporting
• You set up and configure custom AI agents, apply prompt engineering, and build MCP servers, custom skills and tools
• You integrate LLM-based solutions with existing QA, CI/CD, test management and development tooling
• You support the setup and operation of LLMs both on-premise and on AWS or similar cloud providers
• You bring a creative, solution-oriented mindset and a strong hands-on mentality
• You are able to self-manage, coordinate with teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Successfully completed IT studies or equivalent education / proven experience
• ISTQB certified, or equivalent certification such as TMAP
• Hands-on experience in a Software Testing / QA position
• Good understanding of Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines
• Working proficiency and clear communication skills in English
• Proven hands-on experience with AI-assisted QA, Agentic QA or test automation
• Hands-on experience with building custom AI agents, prompt engineering, MCP servers and custom LLM skills/tools
• Experience setting up or operating LLMs on-premise and on AWS
• Sound understanding of software testing, QA processes and test automation best practices
• Experience with common QA tools and frameworks is a strong plus, such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, Xray, Zephyr, TestRail, Jira, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with AI/LLM frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, vector databases, embeddings or RAG is a plus
• Ideally you have AWS, Agile/Scrum, AI or cloud-related certifications, or the willingness to obtain them
