IT Consultant - Data & AI Governance (m/f/d)

Responsible for technical and non-technical assessments, consulting activities, and project support of medium complexity to drive continuous improvement of Group IT and its partners' services for the respective stakeholders. The role is responsible for preparing and moderating meetings with key stakeholders and, where necessary, acts as the main point of contact for IT product owners, local IT managers, and domain leads.

Main Responsibilities

Consulting and assessment

• Joint responsibility for advising Group IT, local IT stakeholders, and business representatives on IT issues and preparing assessments to support continuous improvement and quality assurance
• Acting as a point of contact for advising Group IT and local IT teams
•  Ensures understanding and application of requirements in line with the guidelines and standards of the governance framework
• Advising on the development and implementation of IT solutions and services
• Performing technical and non-technical assessments to support continuous improvement processes and quality assurance of IT systems and organizations
• Prepare customer-oriented reports explaining the results and derived risks as a basis for improvements
• Supporting the IT Delivery Manager or IT Product Owner with complex issues related to service operations, such as resolving major incidents

• Compliance with governance in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders in relation to processes and standards  

Expertise and skills

Expertise, skills, and experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study or comparable qualification
• Up to three years of professional experience in IT consulting for companies and organizations of comparable size
• Experienced in working in agile organizations
•  Knowledge of project management
•  Knowledge of the design and implementation of IT solutions and concepts  
• Data Literacy program and cultural mindset shift (change management) aspects
• Data marketplace and data product concepts
• Data governance concepts, tools and trends (DAMA based)
• AI governance concepts, tools and trends
• Data privacy and protection frameworks and regulation (e.g. GDPR)
•  English: Fluent business English, both spoken and written

• Good communication and moderation skills at management level
• Ability to work in diverse and intercultural teams
• Ability to collaborate with international partners
• Ability to organize and lead project teams
• Ability to understand complex issues and answer technical questions appropriately, even for technical laypersons
